In 1994, Justice Horace Krever is tasked with heading an investigation into the tainted blood scandal. As he delves deeper, he uncovers disturbing truths and heartrending testimonies from victims. Meanwhile, Ben, alienated from his family, becomes increasingly driven by a desire for vengeance as more victims succumb to their fate. Krever's progress hits a snag when the individuals he plans to hold accountable retaliate by suing him in court.
