In the early 90s, individuals affected by contaminated blood start to speak out, filing lawsuits against the government. With Margaret's assistance, the Hemophilia Society tirelessly advocates for compensation. Ryan Sanders, fortunate to escape HIV, grapples with the harsh side effects of his Hepatitis C treatment. Meanwhile, Peter encounters Darby and, despite his HIV status, they develop a deep connection. After completing a historical archive, Ben shifts his focus to a more personal writing project, which strains his relationship with Peter even further.
