Going Bye-Bye! (1934)
In a crowded courtroom, Butch Long swears payback against Laurel and Hardy, whose testimony landed him behind bars. Terrified, the pair decides to skip town and post an ad seeking a travel companion to split costs. The woman who replies is secretly Butch’s girlfriend. Meanwhile, Butch breaks out of prison and stashes himself in a trunk at her place—only to get trapped inside. Unaware of who’s in there, Stan and Ollie wrestle the trunk open, and Butch finally delivers his brutal comeuppance.
