Beginning of the End (1957)
An intrepid reporter delves into the strange devastation of an Illinois town and uncovers a covert government lab experimenting with radiation on crops. Teaming up with a dedicated scientist, she learns that enormous grasshoppers are responsible for the chaos. With a swarm threatening to invade Chicago, the clock ticks down.
