Issei crosses paths with Asia Argento, a gentle Sister newly assigned to the town's church, and the two quickly form a bond. As their friendship grows, Issei begins to grasp the deeper workings of the chess-like conflict he's been drawn into, and the specific parts he and his fellow devils are meant to play within it.
