Cindy Campbell, a researcher from a U.S. lab dedicated to extraterrestrial studies, becomes convinced that Ika is an alien and aims to bring her in for examination. Her plan to brainwash Ika into believing she's an alien backfires when Ika's hunger breaks the trance. Later, Ika wanders Eiko's school, mistaking it for a military installation, and seizes control by holding the principal hostage, until Eiko intervenes. Meanwhile, Sanae dreams of a shrunken Ika kept as Eiko's tiny pet.
