Eiko stumbles upon a relic of her past—a doll from her childhood—that sends Ika into a frenzy when it seems to move on its own in the dead of night. As Eiko reflects on the doll’s features, she and Sanae start puzzling over the fate of its missing partner from the set. Meanwhile, after witnessing Chizuru’s unusual abilities firsthand, Cindy grows convinced she’s hiding extraterrestrial origins and recruits the MIT trio to secretly collect a DNA sample. Later, Ika joins the Aizawas on a mountain hiking excursion, where her tentacles unexpectedly become a tempting target for the local wildlife’s appetites.
