Filthy and J.B. shine as stars on the Hughes middle school basketball team, but their friendship begins to wane when J.B. explores new passions. During a game, Chuck collapses on the court and is rushed to the hospital, raising concerns about his health and coaching capabilities. Meanwhile, a new girl catches Filthy's eye, and he quickly develops feelings for her, only to be surprised when his brother makes the first move.
