Oblivious to her unique abilities, Soji diligently carries on with her tasks, drawing the interest of the executive director of the Borg cube research initiative. Meanwhile, Picard revisits past incidents with a hesitant Raffi, as he reaches out to others who might assist him in locating Bruce Maddox. Among those he seeks is Cristóbal Rios, a pilot and former Starfleet officer.
