Mare arrives at a shocking murder scene and then breaks the news to the victim’s furious father. When footage from the night of the incident comes to light, Mare begins interrogating potential suspects and greets County Detective Colin Zabel, who has been brought in to help, with a frosty reception. As tensions rise with the community, Mare also expresses her worries about her grandson Drew, especially considering the mental health issues her late son faced.
