Annie Irving, a far-left activist and Cowley's ex-girlfriend, finds herself in danger when a hitman targets her during one of her gatherings in London. Unbeknownst to Cowley, he assigns Bodie and Doyle to ensure her safety, all while the assassin lurks closer than anyone suspects.
