The students in Ms. Frizzle's class believe their sole addition to the Walkerville Space Capsule is an empty jar. “It’s not empty,” Keesha insists. “It’s packed with air!” Ralphie disagrees, claiming air serves no purpose. However, when the bus shrinks and becomes trapped inside the jar, the class realizes that their only chance of getting out lies in... air!
