Gino, the beloved western lowland gorilla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is celebrating his 39th birthday with animal manager Rachel, who has known him since his teenage years. He receives an impressive cake fit for a storybook, but the festivities hit a snag when he faces a chest infection. Meanwhile, animal keeper Lori discovers a concerning lump on Kinsey, the cherished alpha lioness, prompting the need for immediate medical care, though moving the 300-pound feline to the Veterinary Treatment Room proves difficult. At EPCOT's The Seas with Nemo & Friends, aquarist Amanda, who is expecting her first child, prepares for the arrival of a spotted eagle ray pup. On Discovery Island, trainer Katelyn is busy teaching two new macaws, Santiago and Emmett, how to navigate as they train to join the Winged Encounters flight team.
