The Biggest Loser Australia (2006)

The Biggest Loser, an Australian reality series adapted from its American counterpart, hit Network Ten screens in 2006. Produced by Crackerjack Productions, the show initially saw Ajay Rochester at the helm until 2009, before former Olympic swimmer Hayley Lewis took over hosting duties in 2010. The debut season premiered on 13 February 2006, with a second season arriving in February 2007, introducing trainers Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton, and Steve Willis. A third season followed in 2008, and a couples-based fourth season began in 2009. The fifth season, which premiered on 31 January 2010, welcomed Lewis as host, with Tiffiny Hall joining as a trainer the following year.
