After Maddie gets caught up in the Franzen case, she finds herself needing to testify before a grand jury to protect herself. Irving reaches out to FBI SAC Brenner for assistance regarding Alvarez and uncovers valuable information about Peña. Meanwhile, the father of the young tamale girl seeks out Bosch, and his sorrow deepens Bosch's determination to ensure her murderers are brought to justice. Leonard and Norris continue to pressure Billets, pushing her to her limits.
