On the night of December 15, 2000, DeKalb County's sheriff-elect, Derwin Brown, is tragically murdered, a crime orchestrated by his rival, Sidney Dorsey, who had recently lost the election. The shocking assassination sends shockwaves through the community and raises questions about political rivalry and corruption in the region.
