Set in 1910, the world of aviation is just beginning, with delicate wooden aircraft that are as likely to plummet as they are to soar. Yet, two ambitious young innovators see beyond the fragile machines: they envision a future where airplanes transport countless travelers across vast distances, including oceans. Determined to turn this dream into reality and establish a profitable industry, William Boeing and Donald Douglas find themselves in competition with automotive mogul Henry Ford and the notorious Dutch aviation leader Anthony Fokker, as well as each other.
