Catherine Langford has spent over a decade observing her father's relentless efforts on a cryptic ringed artifact unearthed in the Egyptian desert in 1928. With funding dwindling and answers still out of reach, their circumstances grow increasingly dire. As her father prepares to transfer the device overseas, Catherine grapples with the impending loss of her life in Cairo. However, when shadowy figures invade their research facility one fateful night, unexpected revelations about the artifact emerge, bringing a dark twist to their quest for understanding.
