S1E6 The Simplifier

Harried Dad Tidbiddle barely has a moment to breathe, so when the Cat in the Hat offers him a "Simplify-Your-Life-Machine," he jumps at the chance. But Dad can't resist tinkering with his new gadget, constantly "upgrading" it in hopes of saving even more time. The irony stings: the more he tweaks the machine, the busier he becomes, leaving his neglected family wondering where he's gone.
