Title: I'm O'Tay, You're O-Tay Plot: To celebrate Black History Month, Nicholas is tasked with selecting a notable African-American figure for a school assembly. His family is taken aback when he reveals his intention to dress as Buckwheat. Although Robert encourages him to pick someone with a more uplifting legacy, Nicholas remains steadfast in his choice, prompting Robert to support him. At the assembly, Nicholas appears in full Buckwheat attire, mimicking the character’s iconic speech patterns. However, he later removes the wig to discuss how black actors of that time were often limited to stereotypical roles, emphasizing the importance of recognizing these trailblazers for paving the way for future generations. Meanwhile, Cece aspires to emulate her older sister Zaria.
