Inspector Pletikosić, skeptical of this directive, seeks assistance from his former superior, Inspector Tanasijević, who has since left the police force for a different path in life. The disappearance of Novicki poses a significant issue for the state, prompting Prince Pavle to instruct General Živković to uncover the truth behind the count's vanishing quickly. This situation deeply troubles Maja Davidović, who has failed to complete her assigned task. Meanwhile, Mustafa Golubić, hidden away for protection, begins to craft a scheme to uncover the conspiracy brewing around him. As everyone pursues their own agendas and forms new alliances, the reality is far from what it appears on the surface.
