Porky becomes anxious after a black cat crosses Lassie's path, followed by her walking beneath a ladder. Jeff and Ellen try to reassure him, insisting that superstitions are nonsense. However, as a series of unfortunate events unfolds, Jeff starts to reconsider his stance on luck and omens.
