Jack is approached by the pastor regarding the inclusion of a person of color on the police commission. Luke returns to Philadelphia with surprising news for Roxanne. Meanwhile, Melanie grows increasingly envious of the bond forming between Sam and Meg. In a last-minute decision, Meg resolves to stage the play exactly as she originally envisioned.
