A military fragmentation grenade is employed in a deadly assault on two Vietnam veterans, resulting in the tragic death of one, a close friend of Mark's. As it becomes clear that another member of their old unit has faced a similar fate, the Chief devises a plan to catch the perpetrator. He decides to use Ed as bait, disguising him cleverly to lure the killer into a trap.
