The murder of a police officer leads to the death of his assailant at the hands of the officer's partner. As it turns out, both officers had trained alongside Ed at the Police Academy, prompting Ironside to step in. During his investigation, Ironside uncovers that the partner's shooting was not a straightforward case of self-defense, but rather a meticulously orchestrated setup, revealing a deeper conspiracy at play.
