An acclaimed baseball player and former friend of Ed starts receiving disturbing mail that escalates quickly into a serious threat. Concerned for his family's safety, he initially rejects Ed's help, opting to confront the issue on his own. As the situation deteriorates, Ed realizes he must intervene and convince his friend to accept assistance before things spiral further out of control.
