The investigation into the murder of a young man who recently departed from his family's religious enclave draws Dylan and Lizzie into a web of potential suspects. Among them are an irritable photographer and an enigmatic girl suffering from memory loss. Complicating matters, Lizzie's younger sister, Katie, makes an unannounced visit, adding another layer of complexity to the case.
