A fresh-faced junior doctor in the department takes on the case of a man battling suspected sepsis, sparked by an infection from his tracheostomy tube. Meanwhile, an 84-year-old woman is rushed in by ambulance after a tumble down the stairs, and the team runs a series of x-rays to rule out any fractures. At the same time, a 12-month-old infant is brought in following a seizure, requiring urgent care and close monitoring.
