In India, Xena and Gabrielle awaken in a seemingly idyllic paradise, where a mysterious figure named Aidan introduces Gabrielle to the practice of meditation. However, Xena soon realizes that Aidan is exploiting Gabrielle's kindness for his own gain. To rescue her friend, Xena must confront her own goodness and make the difficult choice to relinquish it entirely.
