HMS Duncan is navigating the depths of the Black Sea on its way to Crimea when a Russian vessel it has been shadowing vanishes without a trace. Pilots Johnny Hamlyn and Tim Dunning launch a Wildcat helicopter to investigate and uncover that the ship is likely a spy vessel, tasked with observing the Duncan. Tensions rise rapidly as Russian jets begin to circle the Royal Navy ship. Commodore Mike Utley and Captain Eleanor Stack are forced to evaluate the escalating threat and strategize on the best course of action to safeguard their crew.
