Bobby takes on the case of Dr. Jeffrey Winslow, who is facing trial for the gruesome murder and decapitation of his mistress. The tension between Bobby and Helen, the district attorney prosecuting the case, escalates as neither is willing to yield, causing turmoil in their relationship. Meanwhile, Eugene steps in to represent Rebecca's difficult uncle, who is charged with tax evasion.
