S1E1 Meet Brown Meadows

Brown initially feels proud of his solo efforts to renovate the house without spending a dime. However, as the structure begins to deteriorate, he realizes he needs assistance. Cora informs Brown that she has posted flyers at the church to recruit help for the home. Reluctantly, he agrees to conduct interviews. After several unsuccessful attempts, he eventually hires Jesus, a janitor with limited English skills. Rather than addressing the repairs Brown assigns, Jesus focuses on fixing things that are already fine. Just as Brown loses hope for the house's readiness, the community rallies together to restore it.
