Title: The Curse of the Bell Plot: For the first time in ages, the drovers enjoy a Saturday free from work. Eager to liven up the sleepy town, Rowdy and his buddy Rabbit take aim at the schoolhouse bell. However, a bullet bounces back unexpectedly, tragically striking and killing Jud Hilton. His brother, Brother William—a self-styled minister with a troubled mind—declares a curse upon them, proclaiming that they will never escape death's grasp.
