Shakuni gives Duryodhan counsel on how to persuade the Pandavas to reach a compromise. Meanwhile, in the kingdom of Virat, Subhadra hears the tale of Krishna and Kans, detailing how Kans imprisoned Devaki and Vasudeva. According to a prophecy, their eighth child is destined to bring about Kans's demise.
