In Universal Century 0087, seven years after the One Year War between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon ended, the Earth Federation establishes an elite unit called the Titans to track down Zeon remnants. But the Titans' hunger for power drives the formation of a resistance movement, the Anti-Earth Union Group (AEUG), determined to oppose them.
