S53E20 Great Performances at the Met: Arabella
The romance of Strauss transports audiences to glittering 19th-century Vienna in Otto Schenk's legendary Met production. Soprano Rachel Willis-Sørensen debuts the role of Arabella, a young noblewoman determined to find love on her own terms. Making her Met debut, soprano Louise Alder plays her sister Zdenka, while bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny portrays the count who ultimately wins Arabella's heart.
