S1E1 Emergence (1982 – 1983)

In 1982, the Sanders and Landry families are thrown into turmoil upon discovering a sinister disease known as AIDS, which poses a severe risk to the blood supply. Both families have sons who suffer from hemophilia, a hereditary disorder that makes them reliant on blood products for survival. As the medical field grapples with the escalating crisis, many remain in denial about the seriousness of the situation.
