Nine everyday Americans are welcoming a recently released inmate into their homes. Though scattered throughout the country, these hosts are united in their mission to assist those transitioning from prison back into society. As their friends and family express skepticism about this initiative, one inmate surprises his new housemates with his unpredictable behavior, challenging their expectations and beliefs.
