According to Jim (2001)
S2E2 Cars and Chicks
Jim asserts that women struggle to negotiate a fair price on vehicles. Ironically, when Cheryl assists Dana in purchasing a new car, it turns out to be a total dud. Desperate for support, Dana implores Jim to leverage his masculine charm at the dealership. However, he ends up succumbing to the persuasive sales manager, Gretchen, and impulsively decides to swap the family van for a flashy sports car—without even discussing it with Cheryl first.
