S1E1 Homecoming

D.S. Freddie Spender, an undercover officer from Newcastle, has spent the last 15 years working in London. When a recent undercover operation with his partner, D.S. Colin Driver, goes awry, Spender is reluctantly reassigned to his hometown. Faced with the challenges of reconnecting with his ex-wife and children, as well as confronting his troubled past and local criminals, Spender must navigate a difficult transition. His new boss, Supt. Yelland, is not fond of him and views him as a nuisance, assigning Spender to investigate Raymond Price.
