J.D. is taken aback when Dr. Cox informs his interns that they will inevitably make mistakes that could lead to a patient's death. The thought of causing harm fills J.D. with anxiety about his potential first fatal error. Meanwhile, Elliot is frustrated with Molly for opposing their patient's commitment to entering drug rehabilitation. In another subplot, Carla realizes Rowdy is missing and enlists the help of the Janitor to search for him.
