Nate and Serena take a step to test the limits of their friendship. Meanwhile, Blair worries that Chuck can’t shake off thoughts of the woman he encountered at his father's grave. Jenny agrees to go to a State Dinner with Damien, not realizing he’s using her to facilitate a drug deal. Vanessa and Dan work on overcoming the tension that arose after Dan declared his feelings. Rufus comes back from a skiing trip and makes a concerted effort to steer clear of Lily.
