S1E9 Negative Polarity

Tank joins forces with Crygen and Pyre to wield a massive galvacite boulder, hoping its power will finally let them crush Metlar. But when they charge into Infernac, the surge of magnetic energy goes haywire, flipping the core’s polarity and twisting Crygen and Pyre into villains while Metlar turns unexpectedly heroic. The chaos triggers a catastrophic chain reaction that starts dragging Earth’s Van Allen belt down toward the surface. Forced to cooperate despite his revulsion, the now-benevolent Metlar aligns with Earth Corps to fix the mess—they rebuild the boulder, snapping Crygen and Pyre back to normal, only for Metlar to revert to his evil self and reclaim his fiery domain.
