After years of chasing a trail woven from myth and unearthed relics, Blackthorne Shore finally stumbles upon a monstrous temple hidden deep in Borneo’s wilds. Within its walls, Sslither—a lightning-hurling Inhumanoid—has been magically sealed for millennia. Freeing the beast to do his bidding, Blackthorne sets it loose, and it immediately blasts a patrolling army jet from the sky. When Earth Corps later ventures into the planet’s mantle, they walk straight into an Inhumanoid ambush. Chaos erupts, and a botched chemical formula from Liquidator sends the creatures into a frenzy of misplaced affection: D’Compose swoons over an undead Sandra Shore, Tendril attempts to woo a robotic movie prop, and a smitten Metlar absconds with the Statue of Liberty, cradling her in his molten grasp.
