All the firearms from a local shop are pilfered by le Faucon Bleu, the most infamous thief and pirate across Europe. He ominously warns, "Beware tonight, danger approaches, for I have arrived in Paris." A musketeer gallops through the streets, urging residents to secure their homes. As night falls, only the Police, Guards, and Musketeers venture out, with Dogtanian also safely indoors.
