The Destiny is now soaring through hyperspace, navigating the vast emptiness of an inter-galactic void, but they’ve lost contact with Eli, Chloe, and Scott, who remain stranded. Dr. Rush has determined that their energy levels are critically low, leaving them unable to reach the next galaxy and facing certain death. Just then, the engines fail, prompting them to call in Amanda Perry through the communication stones for assistance. Having known Rush for years, Perry, who is quadriplegic, is eager to contribute. Meanwhile, Camile Wray's consciousness has been transferred into Perry's body, leaving her confined to a wheelchair.
