Okabe freezes in place, stunned by the sight of Makise moving through the lab as if nothing had happened. His mind races, still replaying the moment he watched her die. Yet here she stands, alive and unharmed, adjusting her coat with her usual dismissive air. He struggles to form words, the impossible contradiction leaving him breathless. She barely glances at him, unaware of the shock she just caused.
