In July 2006, on a Saturday evening, well-known Nevada politician Kathy Augustine was expected at a political fundraiser, but she failed to appear. Instead, she was found mortally wounded in her own bedroom. Her husband, Chaz Higgs, believed he had orchestrated the ideal crime. However, as a former Navy medic turned nurse, he soon realized that careless talk could lead to his downfall.
