Meanwhile, an accounting fraud is uncovered at Mamiya Fiber, prompting Takayuki to scheme a way to stop Hokuto from leaking the scandal. Elsewhere, Chiwa twists her ankle on the job, and her colleague Yu kindly escorts her home—his warmth stirring something in her heart. Later, Yu learns of Hokuto's haughty behavior and confronts her, questioning why she would share her life with someone like him.
