Sgt. Tom Elvidge makes his way to Grimsby to track down a notorious burglar connected to several break-ins, known for lacking a driving license. As Tom sets up for surveillance, the suspect unexpectedly speeds by, prompting him to chase after him. Meanwhile, in Hull, PC Billy Stead is out on patrol with newcomer PC Megan Cetti when he notices something unusual at a traffic light. At the same time, PCs Luke Thundercliffe and Rich Stork are dispatched to investigate reports of a driver under the influence of laughing gas in Grimsby.
